5,000 teachers to augment the services of other serving teachers in
the state.
The State Chairman of the Teachers' Service Commission,TSC, Yahaya
Baba who spoke in an interview with Vanguard in Bauchi said the
measure was to improve the quality of education in the state.
Baba said that about 7,000 people applied for the jobs, adding that
the board had already started interviewing the applicants in a bid to
ensure that competent hands were employed.
According to him, the state government's decision to embark on the
massive recruitment was directly connected to the growing need for
educational development in the state. Employment; I see good, better
things to come.
