I wish to welcome every student of this great institution Nnamdi Azikiwe University back from their various breaks. You all are welcome to this new semester as we all join hands to make NAU a better institution.

A welcome message by the SUG president, welcoming students back with what he called welcome back gift of reducing food price. I wish to say that as an honourable member of the 23rd house their was never any day this issue was brought before the house.

The SUG president took this decision without the approvalof the Students Representative council, and this wouldn't be the first time he is doing this.

I join voices with the speaker of the house, Rt. Hon. Nnamani Nzube to say that the step taking by Comrade Noble Eyisi in reducing food price is Null and void. It can not hold water and therefore does not stand.

I urge all the students of this great institution to seat calm as we all work together for the better of all members of the union.
